Description
The copper(II) complex of the tripeptide Gly-His-Lys, a plasma fragment that declines with age. It safely delivers copper into cells and modulates wound-healing, extracellular-matrix, and antioxidant gene pathways — stimulating fibroblast synthesis of collagen, elastin, and growth factors.
Key research notes:
- Studied for collagen & ECM synthesis in fibroblasts
- Wound contraction, angiogenesis & granulation in animal models
- Anti-inflammatory & antioxidant gene-expression effects
